The revival that started in 1904-05 in the United Kingdom has now taken hold in the United States through the Apostolic Church. During the Welsh revival in the United Kingdom in 1904-05, over one hundred thousand people were converted to Christianity. Many of then called themselves the “Children of the Revival.” Thereafter, in 1922 the Apostolic Church was formed and expanded into five continents. Missionaries from the United Kingdom spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to many African countries, including Nigeria. The Apostolic Church, Minnesota Assembly was initially formed as a foreign mission of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria. With the assistance of Pastor John Kristensen, president of the Apostolic Church Canada, many pastors, including Pastor Kenneth Udoibok were called into the ministry in the United States. In May 2001, Pastor U. T. Offong during his church planting mission in the United States visited St. Paul, Minnesota and inaugurated the Apostolic Church, Minnesota Assembly under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Udoibok. Now, the Apostolic Church, Minnesota Assembly as an affiliate ministry of the Apostolic Church North America is engaged in many outreach ministries such as Eastside Community Legal Services, Eastside Substance Abuse Services, and Eastside Community Event Services. Our goal is to provide a forum where all St. Paul Eastsiders can gather and enjoy one another in a healthy and welcoming environment, irrespective of race and national origins.
